Every GATORZ MILSPEC frame and lens combination meets Military Specification MIL-PRF-32432A, Clause 3.8.4.1, for fragment impact protection. Each pair is engineered to withstand up to seven times more impact energy than the ANSI Z87.1+ impact standard requires.
Built for military and law enforcement work, where the eyes face fragments, debris and impact: range and live-fire training, patrol and field operations.
Tested as a complete pair
Impact standards are verified on the finished eyewear, frame and lens together, not on the lens alone.

Every MILSPEC lens comes with anti-fog.
How MILSPEC is tested
The MIL-STD-662 test protocol uses a 0.15 caliber, 5.85 grain fragment simulating projectile (T37) travelling at 700–725 feet per second, striking the lens at a critical point.

One wide lens for a wide field of view, and lenses you can change when the environment does. Thin, adjustable Ghost Temples are made for comfort and fit. The aluminum frame bends wider or narrower to fit. The nose pad adjusts separately on two axes (X and Y).
