GATORZ Warranty Policy

GATORZ provides warranty coverage for manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty terms are outlined below:

Aluminum Frames

GATORZ will repair or replace aluminum frames returned by the original purchaser if found to have a manufacturing defect. The warranty is valid for the lifetime of the product model, meaning as long as that specific model is still in production.

Note: The warranty does not cover scratches, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, lost or stolen items.

Lenses

Lens warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Scratches or damage from regular use are not covered under the warranty.
Customers may inquire about sending lenses to the GATORZ USA service center or participating in the Trade-In Program (available to international customers) for replacements.

Nosepiece

GATORZ will replace defective nosepieces under the following conditions:

  • For glasses purchased within 1 year, a free replacement kit can be requested.

  • For glasses older than 1 year, replacement parts are available for purchase.
    (We recommend sending your glasses in for assessment to ensure compatibility before ordering parts.)

Lifetime Warranty Policy

The term "Lifetime Warranty" refers to the product's lifetime—that is, as long as the specific model is still being manufactured—not the lifetime of the customer. This warranty covers one-time service per product and applies only to manufacturing defects.

*If the product model is discontinued or replacement parts are no longer available, GATORZ reserves the right to offer a comparable replacement or alternative solution.

This policy follows the same standard as that used in the United States and applies to GATORZ customers worldwide.

* Prizes or glasses given as part of promotional activities are not eligible for warranty consideration. Only products purchased through official distribution channels and authorized dealers are covered.

Warranty for GATORZ Custom Prescription Eyewear

GATORZ provides a lifetime warranty on the aluminum frame only for prescription eyewear ordered and produced through GATORZ. All custom lenses are manufactured and fitted by our optical laboratory. GATORZ warrants against the manufacturer defects covered by our laboratory for custom lenses as follows:

  • Lens breakage, detachment, peeling/flaking, and anti-reflective coating problems: 2-year warranty
  • Mirror coating: 1-year warranty
  • Laboratory errors: 60-day warranty, including incorrect mirror coating color and/or incorrect lens formula production
  • Lenses that come out of the frame: 60-day warranty
  • Incorrectly ordered lens prescription values or errors by the doctor in writing the prescription are not covered
  • Lenses with scratches from normal use are not covered
  • Damage from accidents, loss or theft is not covered

GATORZ is an authorized distributor of custom prescription eyewear, warranted by GATORZ only. The GATORZ warranty does not cover warranty claims for custom prescription eyewear ordered from third parties.
