Every GATORZ MILSPEC frame and lens combination meets Military Specification MIL-PRF-32432A, Clause 3.8.4.1, for fragment impact protection. Each pair is engineered to withstand up to seven times more impact energy than the ANSI Z87.1+ impact standard requires.
Built for military and law enforcement work, where the eyes face fragments, debris and impact: range and live-fire training, patrol and field operations.
Tested as a complete pair
Impact standards are verified on the finished eyewear, frame and lens together, not on the lens alone.

Every MILSPEC lens comes with anti-fog.
How MILSPEC is tested
The MIL-STD-662 test protocol uses a 0.15 caliber, 5.85 grain fragment simulating projectile (T37) travelling at 700–725 feet per second, striking the lens at a critical point.
